Among the great Occultists of the 1900s emerges, immense, the figure of Oswald Wirth.
Olwald was a student of Stanislas de Guaita, an important French Occultist. Oswald Wirth was a Healer, Astrologer, and Author of the 22 Arcana of the Cabbalistic Tarot.
Wirth, aided by Guaita, based his tarot on the Tarot of Marseilles and incorporated modifications suggested by Eliphas Levi. This work appears to have been limited to the major arcana cards only.
It was first published in 1889. Recreated according to Wirth’s specifications.
