A Smudging Bowl can make smudging (cleaning negativity) easier and safer because the bowl can catch any droping embers when you hold it underneath the smudge whilst the smudge is burning. The bowl is also great to snub out the embers of your smudge once you have finished with your cleansing. Just fill it with sand and butt the smudge in the sand to extinguish. It is also a useful implement to keep all your smudging items together.
