The second novel in the addictive Fallen series . . . where love never dies.

Hell on earth.  That’s what it’s like for Luce to be apart from her fallen angel boyfriend, Daniel.  It took them an eternity to find one another but now he has told her he must go away but just long enough to hunt down the Outcasts Immortals who want to kill Luce.

In Torment, fallen angel,  Daniel, and his mortal love, Lucinda, think they are safe but evil forces are massing against them.

Lucinda is sure that she and Daniel are meant to be together forever.  Now they are forced apart in a desperate bid to save Luce from the Outcasts Immortals who want her dead.

Daniel hides Luce at Shoreline, a school on the rocky California coast with unusually gifted students called Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans.  At Shoreline, Luce learns what the Shadows are and how she can use them as windows to her previous lives.  Yet the more Luce learns, the more she suspects that Daniel hasn’t told her everything.  He is hiding something . . . something dangerous.

As Luce learns more about her past, and discovers that the lives she has already lived hold the key to her future happiness.  She starts to wonder if Daniel has told her the whole truth.  What if his version of events isn’t the way things happened?  What if this information means that she is really meant to be with someone else?
